Brilliant and sold our performances of Alan Ayckbourn’s ‘Season’s Greetings’ December 2023, it was great to be performing at the Courthouse again!

Otley Players were invited back for a second year to write and perform a play as part of the Otley Courthouse’s Heritage Open Day, cue ‘Our Own Kind’ a completely alternative history of how the world famouse Wharfedale Printing Press came into being.

Otley Players brought two more of Bennett’s brilliant monologues to the Courthouse in July, directed by David Dodd and performed by John Ealdon and Clare Smith.

Brilliantly performed by the cast and a lot of fun to do, possibly our last outing in the Metthodist Hall before it sells.

Superb second outing of this play with wonderful performances by Beckie and John. Really pleased to say that we were able to donate £154 to Otley Action to Older People on that back of this production.

  Entertaining the crowds at Otley Folk Festival we performed this old street play in between dances by morris dancing troupes.
